The last foal of the year arrived a little early, which is fine with me so now I can get some sleep! We lost two precious foals, and one sweet filly has a bone break that she seems to be recovering nicely from. Their stories are on my website. The remaining foals seem to be a super group. Now breeding is in swing, with 8 confirmed pregnancies so far. I feel like I'm on a horse breeding hampster wheel (but I love it!).

Congrats on a mostly successful year of foals! I just adore Wyneth's foal, too bad I don't need another! With so many babies you need a full time person just to photograph and update that beautiful website of yours. :)

Congrats Mo!! I really don't know how you do it! You should be really proud of your accomplishments and the beautiful babies you have on the ground this year!
Of course my personal favorite is the 1/2 sister to my (deceased) mare by Whispre. She and Sinatra certainly produced a very beautiful filly.

Mo.
How do you pair up your stallions with your mares? Any insight to be shared?

25! And I'm wondering how I'll get through the 5-7 I'm going to be dealing with next year :lol::lol:
Congratulations on a largely successful season, and I'm sorry for your losses.

Mo I wish everybody posted their foals on their websites the way you do! So much fun to browse! And I love the name theme!

Wow! Lots of really nice foals. My favorite is the Fidertanz filly. I would also be interested to know how you pick stallions for your mares (and how long that takes!).

We're not worthy!! I bred my mare to Welcome at the end of May, and already have someone interested in an In-Utero purchase....you have my total respect!

On top of doing foal watch, taking care of new babies, and breeding her own mares, Mo supports her client mare owners with gracious and professional service. I spoke with her on a Tuesday about possibly doing a breed-back, found out my mare was ready! on Thursday and had a shipment for breeding in my hands on Saturday. She's a champ.
I love my Welcome filly. She's everything I wanted. I'm looking forward to the next one! Thanks, Mo.

Sorry Mo, tried to reply last week and my computer locked up.
I have to agree with Stacie, Mo has been just wonderful to work with! Despite all of the "drama" I have been involved with on my end and shared with Mo this year, she has been cool as a cucumber (and I only have TWO foals a year!!). I needed semen, she said "fine" and it was here the next day. That said, the day it arrived we were in the middle of horrific storms-major heat and NO electricity. The mare was bred and we have our fingers crossed because we have no idea when she really ovulated (electricity went out on Wednesday and did not come back on until Friday-not much of an opportunity to ultrasound). I suggested the name, "Shot in the Dark".
When my vet was able to finally ultrasound the mare she had once again created an AHF on the first follicle but our hope is that the second one will develop into something.
