I am looking for a free horse in Montgomery,NY for dressage and trail riding.I need a quiet horse and can provide a great home.I have a four year old Trakehner that is quite hot and I need a horse that I can be safe on and just have a good time.I don't show but would take lessons with my trainer who is GP when I can.I lease a barn where I work.Nice 157 acre farm.

Does anyone have a sound horse that needs a home? I can provide a great home located in Orange county area in NY.I can offer a ten acre pasture with run in shed I also have 4 stalls but the horses stay out as much as possible.Mare or gelding over 15.2 hands. If the horse knows a bit of dressage even better but not necessary. Thanks

Misheypen, I have a 17 yr old gelding for free lease. He is 15.2 H, bay and very safe. Used for past 5 summers in Pony Club, went to Nationals in KY last summer with my 15 yr old daughter, trail rides, easy to handle. He is not jumping anymore, but is sound and can do flatwork and trail riding. Easy Keeper, I am not looking to "dump" this horse and will take him back when his job is done. He owes me nothing! I am located near Burlington Vermont

I am looking for a horse that I can learn dressage and have fun with! I am located near burlington so I would be interested in more info from abbiegage. my first question is by free lease, do you mean that the person leasing the horse would pay for board and everything or would you pay and have the person just ride and take care of the horse? I am currently riding & working at a barn in colchester where the horse could be boarded (although it is a bit expensive). My parents do not have the money to help me with a lease & I would only have enough money to be able to pay for a trainer & help with a small portion of the lease. please email me at jammd113@verizon.net if you have any additional info! thank you! :)
