Central CA: 8 yr 16.2 Appendix Mare, Trails/Companion/Broodmare

Sigh. I thought I'd found a great lease home for my 8 yr old, 16.2 dark bay Appendix mare, but the leasee has had some recent financial difficulties and can no longer keep the mare. She is currently located in Atascadero, CA. Please see link for pics and more description. She is fantastic on trails, and has great bloodlines (Secretariat and Impressive, HYPP N/N) for a possible broodmare although to the best of my knowledge she is a maiden.

I used to compete her in lower-level eventing and she is a super cross-country horse, but can be tense and unpredictable in the ring, which is why I'm primarily targeting her to a trail-riding/ foxhunting type of home.

I would be very interested in your mare. Is she sound? Would be suitable for jumpers, since she is hot?

One ie Enough- yes, she is currently on trial to be sold (contact came through Dreamhorse mods, not here! ;)) and from a report I just received yesterday, she is doing extremely well. Her hopeful new mom has been teaching her to barrel race and she's apparently a quick study! I am keeping my fingers crossed... :)
