Gloves, spurs(nubbins) if you feel you don't need them, a good whip.

Unless you're unique, I suggest a bridle too. :)

Are you buying a horse? Don't even get me started ;)

I like velcro wraps, I'm lazy. And bell boots? Side reins and a longe line?

Think I could go bridle-less and start a new trend? ;)
I think of my bridle as tack. What are nubbins?

If you get dress boots wear them well in advance of showing to break them in! I will never make that mistake again

I also like boots in exchange for polos but thats just my laziness and its easier to pull off after schooling to go into the show ring. I use Dovers Velcro boots in black and white with fleece inside. I have had the same 3 pairs for a year 1/2 just throw in washer and hang dry. So easy!

You will probably not need to spend the money on an extra helmet unless you are showing in a hunt cap. I show the older guys in my hunt cap and the baby (he's 4) I wear my GPA that I school in.

Also from learning the hard way if you go to weekend shows. I bought two pairs of inexpensive breeches instead of one expensive pair so that I can have a pair for each day. They get so dirty so fast!

A hose! For rinsing your kids off! The last show I went to didn't have any hoses (is that normal for english shows? I'm new to the english world, I used to ride western pleasure, i've been to a few english shows tho!). I was stuck without a hose! I felt like a fool asking people for a hose but there are SOME really nice people at the shows thank God!

How about a generous husband to pay for it all. Besides being rich, he has to be a devoted and understanding horse husband. I'm so lucky to have one!

Nubbins are spurs, withn just a tiny little ball on the end, sort of like wearing spurs, but not.

Those are some good Ideas.

My helmet is just a regular old school helmet. It's umm... not so gorgeous...

Lucky You! I'd love to find a store that carries those.
