I had a filly name all picked out. I was just SURE she was having filly -- but HE is quite darling, even if the unexpected gender!

Here he is: http://www.welshponies.com/08garlandcolt.htm

I need "G" name ideas! I have NONE on my list, other than the name I had for a filly!

LOL

Unfortunately, those pictures don't even BEGIN to do her justice. I just have never seemed to have taken the time to get really good pictures of her. She's one of my all time favorites!

Once she gets her girlish figure back from foaling, I'll make an effort to get some pictures that actually look as good as she does!

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions! Please keep them coming!

Congrats!! He is ADORABLE... pony foals are sooo danged cute and huggable!! But will agree w/ VB also. Beautiful mare, loff her!!

Not so good at names, have trouble naming my own foals, but since I don't have any coming this year and have been naming my friend's foals, might as well try to name yours, too.

Guiseppe - Italian

I'd take advantage of the word "Gilt" since he's palomino.

Ok, I now have a close to 16.3h HORSE that I bred (mom is around 15.2h, dad is 16.3h, the goal was 16.1h, fortunately, he is not build like a tank) and I am a petite 5'4"... SOOOOO, because of that, I believe I deserve a CUTEST PONY COLT EVER and his LOVELIEST Pony MOM EVER to have and to hold forever and ever. So cute, congratulations! I love the mother son shot, she is just breath takingly beautiful, and well, I am a sucker for the golden horses!
