So I was just wondering what foals people were expecting this year? FS Champion De Luxe (I've probably misspelled that)? Hilken's Black Delight? Lateran? I know there are tons more, but those were just some off the top of my head.:)

We are expecting 2 by our GRP stallion Popeye (www.hilltopfarminc.com) , one by Chantre B and one by Der Feine Lord. Chantre B and Der Feine Lord are in Germany (we imported the mares after breeding them in Germany) - they can be seen at www.bockholt.de.

OK...a bit OT...but

I took the year off last year, so no foals in 2008;(
I did have two wonderful, premium fillies in 2007 by Hilken's Black Delight and Highlife's Bodyguard.

However, I am off to a great start for 2009. Today I just had my foundation mare, Courtash Kotton Kandy checked in foal to the talented GRP Chardonnay (www.ponychardonnay.com). Heartbeat check was done on a wonderful leased ZfdP Palomino mare that will be inspected Weser-Ems in foal to Mardi Gras. Next week we have preg check due for my first homebred GRP mare, Magnolia (Makuba x Courtash Kotton Kandy), bred to FS Don't Worry. Last but not least, my young GRP mare Chanel (Highlife's Bodyguard x Conda) will be bred in the next week or so to GRP stallion Voyager. I can't wait till 2009!

I was very curious to see who you would be breeding to this year. :) Voyager looks fantastic. Do you know if he is being used very much this season? How about HBD? I remember Judy having a few straws left over and I was interested to know if mare owners were taking advantage....

We have two expected this season sired by our Licensed Stallion (ISR/OLD NA, Weser Ems) Wildwych Eclipse out of Holstiener and Oldenburg Mares. We have bred three more for next season from our Elite Hanoverian Mare, and two approved Pony Mares. Currently we are watching our Premium Imported Purebred Mare very closely as she is due any minute :), very excited!

Wishing you all the very best for this seasons foals and next years plans!

We will breed our Der Feine Lord mare Die Feine Lady to Popeye, our ISR pony mare Faschon by Fascination back to Popeye and her daughter Ormes by Oliver Twist to Popeye. Our Piccolo mare Poetin will be bred to Stibby Me (she's too closely related to Popeye to be bred to him).

Yes, we are very excited about Voyager. Judy was only able to get a few doses this year...but we have had a good bit of interest. I am super excited to breed my mare Chanel to him next week. We have heard fabulous things from the first breeders to use his frozen...so it seems very promising. As far as I know, Judy has sold all her Black Delight semen already. We will see what happens next year.

I agree that Ilona needs a website. Not fair not to share pics of all those ponies;)
