I'm not sure about "cheap" but the Harry Hall breeches are tailored, sit, ride and wear just like Pikeur Brand. Harry Hall is 1/3 of the price of Pikeur.

I think $50 for brand new full seats is a very good price. If you want something for even less, check out breeches on Ebay. http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=full+seat+breeches&category0=

Yeah 59 is a good price and I will probably get a couple pairs. As they're only for schooling (and I'm not gentle on my riding pants) I don't want to spend over $100 for them.

The Riders International full seats, which usually cost about $60-65 in the Dover sales catalog are cheap fullseats. On principle I don't pay over about $65 for them and I wait for them to show up in the Sales catalogs (which is somewhat frequent). I ride in them alot - partially for the very cheap price (well, alot for the cheap price) but also because they fit my hip/waist ratio better than most breeches (my hips are slender).

You might find these colors only for $59 but I'm sure you can find many other colors if you flip through the pages for $64. Last time, they had the green ones on sale for $59.

Give them a try!
J.

eBay is a good source for specials (just beware that you don't fritter away your savings with hours and hours of browsing! ;) )

Just as a note, though, I found that some of the more expensive breeches hurt at purchase time, but lasted several years instead of 6 months. My deerskin full seats have worn like iron.

Classic Saddlery has a load of them on sale right now in the $50 range with some interesting color choices. Here's their website: http://www.classicsaddlery.com/

Don't forget the Bargain Basement section at VTO Saddlery. The size choices are limited, but they have a number of full seats in the $60 and under range (including Harry Halls), and they ship flat-rate for $4.99. http://www.vtosaddlery.com/halfoff.htm

Equestrian Collections has some good prices on odd sizes/colors in Ovation brand. I haven't tried them yet but found some great prices a few days ago:

I like Kerrits Microcords. You can get them on Ebay for around $65+ shipping.

I really like Neddy's breeches on ebay. They're comfy and good quality, and really inexpensive too. And their white breeches aren't see-thru!!
