Any QH breeders know this stallion ?

maybe even about Frozen semen quality ?

Agent "obviously" says semen is super or there will be no problems or such remarks .... ;-)

I have no idea about QHs but have already learned that there are completely different rules to breeding. mare owners aplly and maybe accepted or not. breedings are limited by SO, so that not too many offspring is around. only one year after death the stallion can be used. Totally interesting things. That QH breeder here on the other hand learned more on WB breeding from me. We had fun comparing things.

My source didn't have any answers for you on the frozen quality. Sorry about that.

On the stallion, my friend said he is a very nice quality horse, obviously doing very well in competition. I think the highest money earner (lifetime earnings) for NHRA. I don't think he has many foal crops on the ground as yet. So, a bit of a wait to see if he produces as well as he performs.

It looks to me like he may be sold out already for the 2008 breeding season (for shipped and frozen semen).

If there is anything I can track down for you or make some calls here in Texas, let me know, I am happy to help. Like I said, I am about 5 minutes from this farm.

A friend of mine has a mare in foal to this stallion due 2009. Don't have much else to tell you as she used fresh semen. She saw him when he showed down here at a reining show. I am not into reiners but she knows what a good horse looks like so when she said he was nice, I believed her!

Holy Hell - He's an awesome horse! I don't have any experience with his semen quality, but I'd book him to my mare if I had the opportunity.

I would breed to him but for the cost! I found one through the NRHA Sire & Dam program for my mare--Top This Rooster, in KY. They seem very good to work with--will collect MWF and send 2 doses, something many SOs don't do in the QH world.

My friend had lunch with one of E.R.'s owners a couple days ago. The gentleman said that the E.R's semen has been excellent. My friend, who also does reining horses, said he's a nice horse and very popular right now. Having one of E.R.'s first couple foal crops would be a good bet. :)

We had a Topsail Cody gelding as a polo prospect. He WAS athletic and built nicely. I can't say if it was the dam or sire's temperment (didn't know either....just bought the gelding) but he had a pretty good buck on him. He didn't last long here after he double barelled my husband into a fence at feeding time.

I don't have any information to offer, but wow is he nice :eek: (drool) I'm sorry I missed seeing him at the shootout. I started riding reiners last summer and seriously thought about driving up for the shootout, but had other things I needed to do. I'll definitely have to keep an eye on him and his offspring - thanks for posting the link.

My friend said she got her mare in foal with the first shipment of fresh. Has a heartbeat and she is really excited!
