Finally got my Sempatico baby!

For various reasons I've had to take full advantage of Liz's generous 4 yr. breeding contract. Finally paid off with an adorable bay/white filly this morning. I was sure Dani would foal last Sunday when we had a big rain storm, but she was waiting for even more dramatic weather. She foaled shortly b4 the biggest snow storm we've had here in years. I owe my S.O. big time since he braved the ice, sleet and snow to drive 25 miles to the nearest tack shop to get a baby blanket. Living in this area I never dreamed we would need one!

Thanks everyone! I do believe she IS worth the wait. I can't leave her alone and so far she's not even tried to get away from me. This mare's had a mix of easy and not quite so easy ;) babies, so I don't think it's too early to tell that she's going to be the former. Thank goodness! Can't wait to let her out. Of course the snow didn't last long and today it's a big soupy mess, so have to put that off a few days.
