I took a video of their winning ride from yesterday- not sure if I can get it uploaded onto YouTube (it might be too long/big of a file) but it was a super ride.

Ania, if you manage to load it, please post the link. I would love to see it too.

This only proves that Ashley's decision to withdraw from the Olympics is so bad for canada....A team without Ashley is just not worth sending.

For those who are curious, Pop Art is a Dutch horse, Amsterdam X Cabochon.

Did she ride in Las Vegas last year? I thought the canadians looked pretty darn good. Would love to see video.

GO ASHLEY !!!! Wonderful to hear that this was a great ride. I would also love to see a video. I agree its a shame she will not compete for Canada at the Olympics. She does seem to be the one doing the best at the American shows out of all other Candians.

Any tips on getting a large video file to upload on YouTube? For what it's worth-- I'm on a mac and tried before with videos from Gladstone 2007 and couldn't get it to work. Each time it said the file was too big. Do I need to split it up or do something?

You can try to upload the file to VEOH.com. or send me a PM

Youtube is weird on what files, etc. you can load. I had to specially go out and buy a Sony "point and shoot" camcorder to do some videos of the horses.

Total PITA since all my videos of my show rides are on DVD, and I have no idea how to get them online :(

Any takers?

It might be a problem of the files being raw, wrong format. You probably need to transcode the vid. I have a program that works well and has a special setting for creating files specifically for uploading to the net. It's Roxio. My version is for Windows. Since macs are supposed to be media friendly, there should be software for it.

There is an option on Youtube for larger files.... I put Waterloo S. E. on there and that certainly was a larger file.

Google for a DVD to WMV converter.

Xilisoft is the best

Ok- I just uploaded the ride from yesterday onto VEOH.com -it's not yet available b/c it's "processing" but I think if you search for it it's called "Ashley Holzer & Pop Art" or under my username there (anniczka)- but I do think this link should work soon:

Apologies for the lack of specatacular recording quality. I was standing and my arms were tired- this was also filmed with my little Lumix camera.

She actually got a 72.042%, (which is still excellent), not a 76.25%.(Just for the sake of accuracy.) There is a big difference between a 72 and a 76% at GP...She must feel great about her ride...Go Canucks!

Holzer/Pop Art got a 76.250 in the GP a few weeks ago at a different show in Florida

This weekend, they got a 72.042

Woot Go Ashley!

Why or why did she have to make that decision not to go to the olympics the year we actually have some amazing pairs!!?? Ok i do know why and totally understand it but still. Canada is looking pretty good this year for all equestrain events.

Hoping you can get that video uploaded!

Thank you for posting the ride! So nice to see such a relaxed ride. I like this rider a lot.

Just wish that stupid website didn't shove pop ups into the vids. Ruined the last canter pirouette and it's a pain to keep closing them.

Thanks again for the effort and sharing!

Wow. I think if you are going to say something that stupid, you should put up your own videos so we can see just how much more wonderful you are.

The info for the videographers who were at the Gold Coast Opener is on Gold Coast's website. I also saw their booth there. It's called "The Video Guys". If you can't find it, pm me.

Well apparently the judges like "brain dead"...That horse showed lots of energy and interest in what he was doing. I guess perhaps may be the poster is braindead!!!
