TB filly born 3/17/06. Currently right at or just under 15.2 at the withers...comparing her to my 15.1 1/8h QH she lives with ;) I expected her to be bigger...she string tested many times throughout her first year at over 17h. Dam is 16.2, sire is 16.3 (was advertised at 17.1 when I bred to him, now at another farm he is advertised at 16.3 , so I'm assuming they wouldn't just arbotrarily lower his height without a measure). His yearlings and 2yos that I saw before breeding, though, were HUGE and definitely going 17h out of smaller mares, so, who knows? I'd be quite pleased with 16.1-2.

Filly will be 2 in April. She was a tiny filly from the get go. Dam is a 15.1H childrens hunter/sire 16.1h. All his other foals out of small mares are maturing over 16H....except this one! I think she is looking at 15.2. Dam was a fab mover and so is the filly. I was just hoping daddy-o would put some size on her like his other foals. Nope! So..I guess good things will have to come in small packages with this one. She is 14.3H.

Too darn big - 16+ at the withers and butt high. Her head towers a foot over 5 foot fencing (luckily she is sold to a trainer who is 5'10" as she is going to be way too big for me). She was foaled end of June. Go figure, where does all this size come from with a 16 hand TB dam and a 16.2 hand Hanoverian sire? Gotta love that modern nutrition.

I have 2 coming 2 yrs and both fillies stands actually at 14.3-15 hands around. In this case, one mare stand at 15 hands and sire at 16 hands; the other mare stands at 15.3 hands and sire is 16.3 hands.
My 3 geldings coming 3 years old stands from 16.1-16.2 hands. One mare stands at 15 hands and sire at 16.2 hands...already at sire height !
The other young one has his dam at 16 hands and sire at 16.3 hands.
So lots of growing coming.

My tb colt is currently 15.1H at the withers, the tb gelding is 15.2H, and my paint colt is 15.3H. The paint is going to be to big to do what I intended with him. He may be a hunter instead:)

My coming 2 year old is HUGE - she is about 16'2 right now and I can't even bear to think how big she is going to be. I am 5'3 and 100 pounds! Her dam is 15'3 but dad is big, over 17 hands. I was hoping for 16'1 or 16'2 max!!!

My coming 2 year old filly is 16.1 +. She will be 2 on April 15th. Her dam is 16.1 and Ironman is 17 H. The mare had her at 23 yrs old so I was concerned she might be a bit on the smaller side, but that does not seem the case! I am not sure just yet how tall she will get.

My Dutch/TB filly is currently 15.2 hands. There is a lot of her though, she's very rangy. Going through a bit a growthy stage too. She has a lot of filling out to do, ect. I am happy with where she is at the moment. I know when our Irish spring grass comes in, she will blossom.

Not sticked him, but see him standing next to Dad daily... Tk x Arab colt, born in August of '06. 16h mare, 14.3h sire.
Just shy of 14.2, with lovely, lovely bone and really not as uneven as I'd expect.
I have NO CLUE where he'll end up. I have really extremely late maturing lines. Wouldn't surprize me if he grew for 4 more years... wouldn't surprize me if he ended up just one stout hand taller.
Doesn't matter, either ;)

I have 3 fillies-
Hall of Fame (1/2 TB;))x Splash of Orange (TB)- 3/16/06 -- she is pushing 16 hands and I expect at least 4 more inches.
Mandate(TB - 16.3) x Annie Dolly Angel(Paint pony-14.1 1/2) - 4/12/06 - 15 hands with the QH build - I think she has at last 2 more inches, hopefully 3.
She will make the CUTEST Small Junior!

My guy (Ikoon/Morning Glory 2) is about 15.1 and is butt high. I did the leg test (cornet band to knee), showing him to mature 16.2. He was born 29/06/06.

I have a coming 2yr old colt (april 2) and he is 15.1. My line is very late maturing and he is at least a couple of inches taller than his full sister at the same age. They grow slow and don't stop to at least 5 1/2 to 6 years old and very even - no butt high stages ever in the three generations that I've bred this line. I think he is going to be more of a throwback to his grandfather who was over 17 hands. Everything in the last two generations has been 16.1 on the dot.

My Contefino gelding (Holsteiner) is my baby elephant he stands at least 16.3 hands. But he is not real heavy and has great bones. I seem to own a herd of Baby Elephants. My min gelding is the smallest at 30 inches.
