Coasty is still looking for a forever home, he'd be great to have as a baby sitter for young horses or older guys that just need a buddy, easy keeper, last summer he didn't eat any grain, is currently eating one meal a day, and of course free choice hay or grass....can live out, would be fine to come inside also! No shoes, and super cute!! Located on VA/TN line. Non riding home! I really need to find a home for this guy, and hope COTH can help me!!

This horse is WAY too cute... someone needs to make room for him! Perhaps details would help - age, level of soundness, any maintenance/supplements required, etc. Keeping my fingers crossed!

He is in his early to mid 20's (I think he's 23 this year) I need to look it up to be sure, he's a pretty sound guy overall, does have a not so young back, and hocks, but is on NO maintenance/drugs currently and is doing fantastic. Sometimes he's a little stiff, but overall nothing out of the ordinary, he did lots of jumpers when he was younger, and was a school horse till I got him...I rode him in college and fell in love, so when it was time to retire I took him....the only reason I'm rehoming him is, my junior horse needs a home, and I can't have 3 retiree's!!

My hope is someone is looking for a buddy for one of their guys he'll go out with anyone, and minds his own business!

Is he kid safe? Would he be ok for kids to ride? I have an eight yo three yo and one yo. I'm looking for something for them to play with along with a companion for my rescue also. Also would you want to keep him instate? Thanks so much!

I can't belive nobody wants to stare at this beautiful horse in their pasture. I wish I was closer. He is adorable. Bumping for a good home for him.

Hehe, he's a doll, and I love ASB's answer!! ;)

imissvixen I would be happy to deliver him to you, we may have to work around my schedule... he's been out with my mares and was out with mares constantly prior to me getting him, shoot me a email my name at gmaildotcom with a little more info on your situation, and I'd love to chat with you about him!!
