People On Horses - POP - have a few by them and also have custom ordered from them before, absolutely perfect and I use them all every day, and they still clean up like new. Definitely my favourite for beauty AND durability...

Browbands by design in WA. There sizing is a little better for cob sizes/refined heads.

POP are beautiful - but too big for my girls.

Simplechangebrowbands.com ::cool:

I own three "bling" chains. You buy one brow band and then swap out your chains. Visit their website, look over their selection, and then make suggestions on beads to fit your color needs.

Terry and Sherrie are great to work with.:D

I second Janet. She talks to you about what your horses look like, what you like, even makes up some strings of "jewels" for you to select the one you like best for your horse. I'd order another from her in an instant. I also ordered a stock pin to match my horse's brow band. Oh, dear, does that make me a DQ? Oh, well, they're both beautiful and Janet was fabulous to work with.

Reasonably priced! You buy the browband, and then can interchange various designs. Mine is 3 years old, used for daily riding, and no problems with breaking strings, etc.
We use the pearls as an attractive, yet understated look for dressage shows.

I totally second this! I bought one from her last year and I love it. She even had my bring my horse over and she held a bunch up to her brow so we could find the best one. SHe was very helpful, and threw in some keepers that fell off my bridle as well. She also guarantees her workmanship and can fix any browband even if the owner did something "bad" to it. I'd say 80% of the show horses in our barn have one of hers or one from POH. We never get our bridles mixed up.

I agree...I have 4 from Jayne. She's wonderful. If you send her a photo of your horse she will make suggestions if you are undecided or she'll custom design. Excellent quality!:yes::yes:

She also sells on ebay.

I'll third or fourth the recommendation for Jayne's browbands. I think I have FIVE. She will also let you string your own beads and will make them into a browband for you. I've done that for a few of mine. I use mine every day too and they still look great. I've had some of them probably three years or maybe more.

I'm on the Jayne bandwagon too... I love her work! When my browband arrived I was so excited I didn't even try it on - for 2 weeks I just carried it around in my truck, showing it off to ANYONE I could. It's gorgeous!

I can't resist, here it is... http://www.txwarmbloods.com/cat%20eyes/reflections.htm ... isn't it cool?!? ;)

I dont do dressage and I dont do bling, but have observed some inexpensive, tres bling browbands on national bridle shop's website. Of course, you'd have to do intensive purification rituals to get the Big Lick dragon tracks off'n 'em.

I have a couple from Riding Couture....both the silver and the beaded ones are beautiful. Click on the "Shop" link to see them. Melonie is fabulous to work with.

I can't get the beautifulbrowbands.com site to work? Do you know if it's down? I want to order a plain browband and put my own beads in it.

I've gotten too many compliments to remember on my Equesport browband. It is beautiful! I was able to get one custom-sized for my moose, plus my design is custom as well.

Jerry's Harness Shop sells blingy browbands for a very reasonable price and you can also get custom sizes from them.

Mr. EqT ordered me one from Jayne after I hinted loudly that I thought it was stunning.. well, it is :) and I got one for my best friend who finally has a new bridle, after 16 years or so...

They are lovely and very well made. My working student has one for her horse, too and it is beautiful.

Simple change browbands are the best. You can change the beads any time. The browbands have little rings in the ends of a channel and you simply hook your strand to the rings and change it as often as you like. I have one browband and 5 strings of beads that I change frequently. If you want to use your own beads this is the answer.
