I got an e-mail from Blue Waters Farm that they are willbe having some schooling shows:

Blue Waters Farm and C-Line Stable will be hosting dressage shows January 19th and February 23rd, 2008. We will be offering Introductory through FEI, Materiale, Dressage Prospect and the FEI tests for 4,5 and 6 year olds. The competition ring, warm-up and staging areas, are in a super sized, warm indoor with sand and Permaflex footing. We will have lots of delicious food and spectator seating. There is also safe parking close to the indoor. We hope you will consider joining us! This year we will have lovely awards and are grateful to our sponsors, Purina Mills, LLC and Truitt Jane, LLC.

PVDA doesn't generally run winter shows at all. The last schooling show is generally in October with the Chapter Challenge in early November. We usually start up again in late March or early April. The 2008 schedule should be finalized shortly. We also post a lot of non-PVDA shows on our calendar.

Equilibrium (www.equilibrium.net) has a spring series with shows in feb, march and april.

I received an email from Dale Clabaugh indicating Plantation Valley in Middletown MD would be having its winter series again on the 3d Saturday of the month -- Jan/Feb/Mar. I don't have any other information but they used to be run so that you signed up for a time slot and you could ride which ever test you wanted at that time. Don't believe there were ribbons involved other than series end ribbons.
