Maggie and I are 386... but the first 8 pictures are someone else :( That's Leia on the back with us at the Trace Pace - apparently the only time they got our photo. What a disappointment. Will check Phoenix's number and hope there are some better shots of him.

Our number was 262. I am so happy with some of the pictures that he got of my girl! He did an excellent job.

Even more disappointment.... Phoenix was 233 and there isn't a single picture of him! Last year we purchased the CD with every picture they took of him and we planned to do the same this year for both Phoenix and Maggie. Good thing a few friends took some pictures or we'd have nothing. How sad. Was the photographer overwhelmed? Did he not realize how many horses would be there? Sure hope he does a better job next year.

Pat, maybe certain people contracted ahead with him, so he got lots more photos of their horses. Perhaps he did get photos of you and your animals, didn't think they were a quality he wanted under his name, so they were not shown.

The numbers given, 1500 photos, of the Lexington CDE is amazing. Even with that many, he must reject some, doesn't mean everything he takes MUST be all great shots. My finger hurts thinking of taking so many!! I do that when picture taking. Have much quantity, for a couple, or sometimes get only one, quality shot. Sometimes they are disappointingly, all just pictures.

You might contact him privately, see if he has anything not shown on his site that you could get of Phoenix and Maggie.

Price and Poppins were 405, nothing spectacular.

I got some good pictures of you and Maggie doing cones, and some so-so shots of Phoenix and Joe during the seminar. Nothing fancy.

For those that didn't get any photos....I did 5,601 keepers at that event....Were you in the parade....did you go on the Mimosa Drive, or the Trace pace? If you went on the Trace pace....were you one of the late ones to leave....? If not then you drove at will in every direction. We used a golf cart and a SUV to run all over the grounds trying to catch everyone.....I can't tell you how many I photographed and couldn't tell who they were because they were in an un-numbered carriage....or had one to four people on the back covering up the number that we use for sorting. If we don't get a number then we cannot post.... Many were told to come and contact us if they had anything special they wanted photographed.. i.e. a special place on the gounds....going thru water.. or shot with friends etc. Trust me someone being left out was not my intention. The previous week we shot 59 competitors....and did 6800+ shots but we knew exactly where all the competitors would be and what time....I suspect we had 9-15 miles to cover at any given time..

FWIW we arrived early - Tuesday evening - and were one of the last to leave on Monday. Our numbers were clearly displayed at all times. Our horses are competition horses with big gaits - parades are not safe and after the ugly looks I got for passing people on the Trace Pace I opted not to do the Mimosa Drive.

Perhaps having a photographer at a hazard, or the water, at scheduled times would be a good idea?

Any photos anyone has of Phoenix or Maggie would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, friends! :)

Only a few gigs worth that my friend took, the one who wants to sculpt one of your Caspians. :D I got quite a few too but haven't reviewed them yet.

Oh, that's not the one she's really overstriding in. Those are the other two good photos I told you about! :D
