at least, that's what he might be--sold to me as a TWH but has suspiciously hairy legs. When I speculated on this board that he might actually be a standardbred/friesian some wit said in that case he'd be an Amish Warmblood.
How about not just names, but the talents you'd find in these equine peekapoos--for the real Rednecks, a Clydesdale crossed with a Racking horse would be able to tote the inebriated trail rider while hauling along enough Bud for the duration of the ride.
And a Dale, whether senior or junior, would of course, be canonized....

I like the skedaddlebred - pretty true, probably.
And the Amish Warmblood - that's a nice way of putting those type of crosses (which are very nice horses and put up with a lot of stuff).
Hmm, can't think of any others... but I just love the Friggin horse one.

Oh, I have an Andalusian / Appaloosa. He's an Iberian Warmblood :) Registered too. Triple actually. International Andalusian and Lusitano Horse Association (as Half-Andalusain), Iberian Warmblood Registery and the Appaloosa Sport Horse Association. Yep. He's a pretty boy - pretty flighty too.

This is a real one, from 50 plus years ago.
Robert Lippitt Knight, the old line Morgan breeder, was at a meeting of the Morgan Horse Association when they were debating about letting in horses from other breeds, mainly saddlebreds. Knight was strongly opposed, but outnumbered.
Finally, in disgust, he said that the Morgan registry should allow in Percherons.
"Why Percherons, Mr. Knight?",someone asked.
"Because we can cross the Morgan with the Percheron, and we can get the Moron", replied Mr. Knight.

They look a little like a pop art painting on acid. Really cool looking but makes your eyes want to cross a little because the patterns keep shifting....

I have a paint x appy cross of some kind in my barn. She has huge ears, so probably donkey in there somewhere. She has both the paint pattern, with the appy pattern in the paint spots. I can't tell if she is a black, and spotted like an appy (in a paint theme) or a greying out paint. I'll have to get some pictures. The poor girl is really ugly. And shes got one of them Amish warmblood foals at her side. Actually he is cute, a bay tobiano, which makes me think shes a black and not a grey. Who knows what the sire is. Probably a mini b/c he is so small. That is the ultimate Amish Warmblood (paint x appy x donkey x mini and the other requirement for an A.W. is to have some standardbred in there too).

There was a Pintoloosa for sale around here a couple years ago...also not a good look! This was also a Tobi/Appy cross. No lie, it looked like someone cut 2 horses in half and stuck them together:....the front half was tobiano and the back half was appy spots!

A couple of years ago I foun dout that Luna had been allowed access through a three foot wooden fence to a stallion. Apparently, the BO thought that they couldn't mate throught the fence.
When I contected my vet to come and check her out and make sure she wasn't in foal, he politely asked what Luna's breeding was, then asked why I wouldn't want the foal. I told him the sire was arabian-appaloosa, and the world just wasn't ready for an IrishThoroAraLoosa.
She was not bred, thank the stars!

I am the proud owner of a Morgan / Percheron cross, affectionately referred to as a "Mor-On".
It was an intentional cross, but I was not the breeder.
So, when I call my horse a 'moron' in public, I am correct! I once threatened to put it on the stall card at a show .....
