Horsemanship and Human Health Course
Join horseman John Sanford and Gail Todter, Ph.D in the Horsemanship and Human Health course every other Saturday at Galleywinter Farm and Piedmont Virginia Community College.
Course description is below:
Discover how the principles of horsemanship apply to your health and relationships by observing different techniques applied to horses of various backgrounds and how these techniques apply to human life skills. Discuss how self awareness, leadership ability and intuitive knowledge influence human relations plus assess, observe and shift a behavior of your own during the course. Learn the basics of equine and human body language, the process of modifying behaviors in horses and humans and communications skills. Includes some hands-on groundwork with horses so horse owners can also gain new insights. Dates alternate between sessions at Galleywinter Farm and PVCC.
