From The Round Pen To The International Ring

March 27—Wellington, Fla.

It’s not very often that the horse you pick out as a yearling goes on to win in the International Ring at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center under your saddle. But Sarah Scheiring did just that when she piloted Eros SCF to the top of the $15,000 Adequan 6-year-old Classic today at the Winter Equestrian Festival.

2015 $50,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby - Live Stream

The top hunters of the 2015 WEF circuit conclude the winter season with the $50,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby. The top 25 from the first round (held on Saturday) will return for the final round on the grass field at The Stadium at PBIEC at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.

2015 $500,000 Rolex Grand Prix CSI 5* - Live Stream

The highlight event of Week 12 to conclude international jumper competition for the 2015 WEF circuit is the $500,000 Rolex Grand Prix CSI 5* at 8 p.m. Held under the lights in the International Arena at PBIEC, the competition will feature the week’s top horses and riders jumping a course set by international course designer Steve Stephens (USA).

Every Second Counts: Johnson Just A Bit Faster In $127,000 Engel & Völkers Grand Prix

It's not often that you get to go head-to-head with your coach, so imagine the thrill when Paige Johnson not only won her first big Winter Equestrian Festival (Fla.) grand prix under the lights, but also did it by defeating her trainer, Kent Farrington. 

Farrington acknowledged that his horse is on the green side, so he didn't put the gas pedal down as hard as he could have, but the margin was still just fractions of a second...

The Artisan Farms Under 25 Grand Prix Series hosted its final event during Week 11 on Sunday, March 22, on the derby field at The Stadium at PBIEC. The $50,000 Artisan Farms Under 25 Grand Prix Final is presented by The Dutta Corp. in Assocation with Guido Klatte. The series gives young riders a valuable stepping-stone from the junior and amateur ranks to the grand prix level.
