Saugerties, N.Y.- Sept. 8

Riders and spectators could be forgiven for stopping and staring as Jimmy Torano cantered Kathryn Haefner’s La Bonita around the grand prix ring in the final round of the $500,000 Diamond Mills Hunter Prix.

Saugerties, N.Y.- Sept. 8

When the time came to pick a horse for the Zoetis $1 Million Grand Prix at HITS-On-The-Hudson, Egyptian rider Nayel Nassar only had one choice.

Contanga 3 Is The Clear Winner In Ocala

Ocala, Fla.—March 17

When Andre Thieme pulled up Contanga 3 after galloping around the jump-off for the $100,000 Sullivan GMC Truck Grand Prix, he didn’t think he’d just laid down the winning round. That mare was relatively inexperienced, and the slowest of his three mounts qualified for the short course. He assumed that one of the others would outrun her.

The rest of the field hoped the same, but they simply couldn’t beat him.
