“Dege & Skinner at the ‘Land Rover’ Burghley Horse Trials September 2010

At the most prestigious Burghley 4-Star Horse Trials, William Skinner, Managing Director, presented the annual Dege & Skinner voucher for a Bespoke Riding Coat to Lauren Shannon, who was the best placed British rider under 25 yet to represent her country in a full international event.  Lauren rode “Zero Flight” into a very  impressive 12th place and received an invitation to visit Dege & Skinner’s elegant showroom to be measured for a fully Bespoke Riding Coat, which will be cut by a Master Cutter in Savile Row and  tailored by hand in the company’s own workshop.”

B.W. Furlong and Associates Veterinarians at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games

Veterinarians from B.W. Furlong and Associates of Oldwick, New Jersey are taking part in the selection process for the U.S. Eventing Team and will be on staff at the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky at the end of this month.

Custom Saddlery Becomes Official Sponsor of the United States Dressage Federation

Custom Saddlery, makers of handcrafted custom-fit dressage, jumping and event saddles, has become an official sponsor of the United States Dressage Federation (USDF). Custom Saddlery will kick-off their new sponsorship by hosting the All American Saddle Fit Challenge which will give away five dressage saddles and raise awareness for proper saddle fit.

As a new USDF sponsor, Custom Saddlery will give everyone the chance to fill out an entry form for a custom made saddle in the Member’s Lounge of the USDF National Education Center during the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.

The 35th anniversary celebration and horse show at Dressage at Devon will once again feature the popular Ladies Hat Day contest on October 1, as well as Dressage with the Experts and the DAD Forum. Aside from being the premier Dressage competition in the country, Dressage at Devon includes many fun activities and educational events during its six-day run September 28-October 3, 2010 at the Devon Horse Show Grounds.

Public Offering Riding Lessons And Horse Boarding At Becker College

Equestrian Center Becomes Community Resource

 

Worcester/Leicester, Mass., September 10, 2010 Becker College will open its Equestrian Center to the public, it announced today. The Equestrian Center will offer beginner through advanced, private and group lessons, in addition to full board for horses.

 

“We are excited to invite the community to make use of the Becker stables as a resource,” said Trina Baker, director of the Becker College Equestrian Center and coach of the Becker College Intercollegiate Riding Team.

The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games’ goal of being environmentally responsible has lead to the selection of Anivac Corporation as the official disinfectant company of the games. Anivac is supplying 'Accel' brand disinfectants and Anivac equipment to clean and disinfect all stabling areas at the park, as well as the quarantine facilities at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (prior to each flight of horses).
