Horses also get stressed and their digestion and gut can suffer with ulcers and other ailments.  How to identify potential problems is something every horse owner should learn. One way to help prevent your horse(s) from getting sick or bring them back to health is by making sure what they eat is good for them.  We pay careful attention to our diets, but do we pay attention to what we feed our horses?  What our horses eat is important if we want them to be healthy and free from disease.

New Stallion Comes to Cazenovia College Equine Center

Cazenovia, N.Y. – Festrausch (Florestan-Carprilli), a 1994 Westfalen stallion from Hilltop Farm in Colora, Md., recently arrived at Cazenovia College, where he will be involved in teaching students at the Equine Education Center, standing at stud for the College’s breeding program and for breeders throughout the Central New York region and beyond.

Diamante Farms German Oldenburg Verband Approved Stallion, Don Angelo, has a long list of accomplishments to his name and at the Wellington Classic Holiday Challenge Toys for Tots Benefit Show he added winning the TailRx “Best Tail Award” to that list. Ridden by Devon Kane, Don Angelo’s long and luxurious tail helped him ride away with the “Best Tail Award” sponsored by TailRx, the mane and tail restoration system for horses that can also be used on horse owners.

    Dressage rider Tine Zinglersen and a Dutch Warmblood named Today proved it was their day to shine at the Wellington Classic Dressage Holiday Challenge Toys for Tots Benefit Show when they rode away with the “Best Turned Out Horse” Award. Thanks to his gleaming coat and spotless appearance, Today, who is owned by Eugenia Revson of Pine Plains, New York, took home the award sponsored by Custom Saddlery, makers of handcrafted custom-fit dressage, jumping, and event saddles.
