This Week In International Disciplines

Jumping
 
Two familiar names jumped to the top of the $50,000 Strongid C 2X Grand Prix, presented by Pfizer Animal Health which served as the first of four FEI World Cup Qualifiers at Thermal in California. Rolex/FEI World Cup veterans (they were second in 2008), Rich Fellers and Flexible got back to business and won narrowly over Richard Spooner and Cristallo. Amateur Rider Karl Cook and Uno de Laubry were third. These three combinations were the only short course clears out of the field of 27 - 11 of which went forward to the jump-off.

World Dressage Masters Coming To Palm Beach

Wellington, FL (February 8, 2011) - The World Dressage Masters Palm Beach presented by International Polo Club Palm Beach is set to take place at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center on March 9 - 11, 2011. The World Dressage Masters presented by Axel Johnson Group is the world's richest dressage series, with 100,000 Euros in prize money offered at the Palm Beach event alone.

"Salute to Driving" Benefit To Support The USET Foundation Fast Approaching

This début event will benefit this country's High Performance Driving programs for the United States Equestrian Team Foundation. Daphne Preece’s Lusitano Bon Orphco Wins High Score Lusitano Award At Gold Coast Dressage Opener Festival CDI

    Hope Greenfield Wins Everglades Dressage Adult Amateur High Score Award At Gold Coast Dressage Opener Festival CDI

    Wellington, FL (February 4, 2011) – The Gold Coast Dressage Opener Festival CDI may have been the biggest show of Hope Greenfield’s career, but that didn’t stop the New Jersey rider from earning the highest Adult Amateur score of the entire show. With a score of 69.714% in the USEF Second Level class aboard her Dutch horse Zuni, Greenfield rode away with the Everglades Dressage Overall High Score Adult Amateur Award at the show, sponsored by Everglades Dressage Farm and Bethany Peslar.

    Lusitano Trainer Wins Premier Sportsmanship Award At International Horse Sport Palm Beach Dressage Show

    The Dressage Connection Awards The “Best Turned Out” In The CDI Jog At The Gold Coast Dressage Opener Festival CDI

    Wellington, FL (February 6, 2011) – Thanks to their stylish attire that caught the attention of the judges, Sharon McCusker and John Zopatti now have the opportunity to shop at The Dressage Connection, formerly Euro- American Saddlery as the winners of The Dressage Connection “Best Turned Out” Award. Zopatti, from Wellington, won the Best Male Turned Out Award while McCusker, from Massachusetts, won the Best Female Turned Out Award. Zopatti also hails from Massachusetts originally, so obviously the Northeastern style was a winning theme with the judges.
