Millbrook Horse Trials Donates $2,500 To Pine Plains Food Locker

MILLBROOK, N.Y. (Nov. 11) – The Millbrook Horse Trials, a non-profit organization that runs the largest equestrian event of its kind in the Northeast, has donated $2,500 to the Pine Plains Community Food Locker (PPCFL) to support area families in need. 

“This is a very significant and generous donation for which we are very appreciative,” said Patricia Nannetti, who heads PPCFL. “This will provide more than a month’s worth of supplies” to support local families in need of food or other critical assistance,” Nannetti said.

USHJA Announces Recipients of Prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award

LEXINGTON, KY-November 5, 2014-The United States Hunter Jumper Association is pleased to announce Leo Conroy and Sally Ike as recipients of the 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award.

 

Conroy and Ike will be recognized for their support and involvement in the industry during the USHJA Annual Meeting's Evening of Equestrians on December 9, 2014 in Las Vegas, NV.

Ali Wolff Named Show Jumping Hall of Fame Rider of the Month for October

Lexington, KY- November 5, 2014 - Ali Wolff of New Albany, OH has been named the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Rider of the Month for October. 

Wolff competes in the East Conference Amateur-Owner division of the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series. Wolff earned the award by winning The Show Jumping Hall of Fame class at The Pennsylvania National Horse Show aboard her horse Brianda.

USPEA Recently Awarded the USEF Affiliate Grant

Lexington, KY - November 4, 2014 - The United States Para-Equestrian Association  (USPEA) would like to thank the United States Equestrian Federation ( USEF) for their support of the Para-Dressage Young Rider Program. As a USEF International Discipline Association the USPEA fosters the Para-Equestrian sport from the grassroots to the high performance level. The USPEA was recently awarded a USEF Affiliate Grant. Through this awarded USEF Affiliate Grant, the USPEA is able to further support the discipline at the young rider level.
