Davidson’s Texas Trek Is Worth The Time

Sept. 27 – Tyler, Texas

Buck Davidson wouldn’t have made the long trip to Texas from his Pennsylvania base without wanting a shot at a big win, so as the intermediate title at the Nutrena/U.S Eventing Championships slipped through his grasp when Quasar dropped a rail in show jumping, he was ready to put the pressure on in the advanced division with Caroline Martin’s Petite Flower.

Luckily, Ashker could rely on her off-the-track Thoroughbred, Anthony Patch, and he put in an easy clear round to take the win, and the Adequan Gold Cup.

Sept. 27 - Tyler, Texas

After driving a total of 21 hours over two days to get to the Nutrena/U.S Eventing Association American Eventing Championships at the Texas Rose Horse Park, Laine Ashker thought the event was over before it even started.

While hacking on Tuesday, Anthony Patch came up mysteriously lame, so Ashker raced to the show office to call the farrier, thinking maybe the Thoroughbred gelding was sore from being shod on Saturday.

D.A. Adirmo Steps Up For Davidson At Jersey Fresh

May 11 - Allentown, N.J.

Until today, Buck Davidson wasn’t sure what kind of horse he had in D.A. Adirmo. The gelding had shown talent for the upper levels, winning his first advanced in February, but after a stop at The Fork CIC*** (N.C.), Davidson dropped him back down to intermediate in his last event.
