2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games Vaulting

In the Chronicle's World Games Preview Issue, Alicen Divita says that a young U.S. team could very well be in the medal hunt, though Germany is still the favorite. Read how the U.S. teenagers fare against the best.

"I really came into this round wanting to go for it and just give 100% and I feel like I really did that," McCormick said. "Palatine was right there for me. He was absolutely amazing for the fourth day in a row, so I'm really pleased with the go."
The U.S. vaulters continue to have good performances as the competition finishes it's third day.
"I think we handled the pressure really well. Even though we had a bobble, we made a really good recovery, which is difficult to do," Kiernan said. "I think we are going to come back on Friday and do a really good job."
After the first day of vaulting, the U.S. Team and individuals are withing striking distance of the podium.
