Who’s The Fairest Of The Professional Hunters At The National Horse Show?

One last hurrah for the nation's top show hunter horses to face off for championship honors. Is it even possible to pick a favorite winner? We put together a photo series of all the open hunter champions—give it a try!

It’s the last indoor final of the 2016 horse show season, the National Horse Show—one last hurrah for the nation’s top show hunter horses to face off for championship honors. Is it even possible to pick a favorite winner? We put together a photo series of all the open hunter champions—give it a try!

Scott Stewart and Fun took the green conformation championship as well as the grand hunter title. Along with Catch Me, Fun has also taken home a tricolor from every indoor final this year, and is also owned by the Gochman family. Skyhawk flew to the top of the high performance hunter division with John French for owner Laura Wasserman—Skyhawk won Wednesday’s stake class and took fourth and third in Tuesday’s over fences classes.
