Lexington, KY- The United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) is pleased to announce Blue Ribbon Blankets by Royal Riders as an official sponsor for World Champion Hunter Rider (WCHR) programs.
Royal Riders has signed on for the 2011 and 2012 season as the Official Cooler for WCHR Regional and Final events, as well as the Palm Beach Spectacular, to provide their much coveted hand-sewn custom coolers to this season’s winners. “Royal Riders’ reputation of high standards is evidenced in the quality of their Blue Ribbon blankets, and we believe those same standards are a perfect match for the WCHR programs.” stated Shelby French, CEO of USHJA. “Since its inception in 1995, the WCHR programs have expanded to include not only the Emerging Professionals but also the Amateur Owners, Adults, Juniors, Children, and even the Pony riders, largely in part to the generous support of sponsors like Royal Riders. WCHR members qualify for National and Regional Awards by earning points at selected events held across the country throughout the qualifying year. A rider’s top four WCHR Member Events points are combined to determine the National and Regional standings. The top ten nationally ranked riders and top six regionally ranked riders in each category come together to compete in the WCHR Finals at the Capital Challenge Horse Show in Upper Marlboro, MD. This year the Capital Challenge Horse show will be held October 3-9, 2011.
