USHJA Announces Dates And Locations For Regional Children’s And Adult Amateur Jumper Championships

U.S. Hunter Jumper Association officials have announced the venues and dates for this year’s Children’s and Adult Regional Championships.

Central Region – Zones 6 and 7
Two Rivers Summer Festival in Cumming, Iowa, July 30-Aug. 3

South Region – Zones 3 and 4
Constitution Classic in Culpeper, Va., from August 22-24

North Region – Zones 1, 2 and 5
HITS-on-the-Hudson VIII in Saugerties, N.Y., from Sept. 4-6

West Region – Zones 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12
Sacramento International Welcome Week in Rancho Murieta, Calif., from Sept. 23-28

The USHJA Regional Championships is a four-round event, which offers participants an experience and format similar to competing at a Nations Cup. 

Riders may accumulate points at any U.S. Equestrian Federation licensed event offering children’s and adult amateur jumper classes held at 3’6 or 1.10-meter -1.15-meter, but may not compete in any jumper class over 1.20-meter during the qualifying period.
