USHJA Announces the 2013 Emerging Athletes Program National Training Session Finalists

Lexington, KY- USHJA and the Emerging Athletes Task Force announce the 2013 EAP National Training Session finalists, presented by Dover Saddlery.

 

The top 16 contenders have been invited to ride in the National Training Session.

 

The National Finalist for 2013 are-

Natalie Wendt of Aptos, CA and Kiersti Wylie of Fallbrook, CA have been chosen to act as Stable Managers for the National Training Session. 

 

The University of Findlay will play host to the 2013 Emerging Athletes Program National Training Session on November 14 - 17, 2013, at the James L. Child, Jr. Equestrian Complex on the University of Findlay grounds. Findlay is home to a premiere equestrian program which boasts a long history of top placings in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Nationals. The 32-acre James L. Child Jr. Equestrian Complex, four miles south of the main campus, has two indoor arenas, an outdoor sand ring and a grass jumping field. Also housed at the equestrian complex is the University Equine Veterinary Services, Inc., a veterinary clinic offering emergency and routine surgery services.

 

Peter Wylde and Karen Golding return to the National Training session as clinicians. Peter has served as Lead Clinician of the EAP National Training Session for five consecutive years and Karen returns as the National's Stable Management Clinician.

  

USHJA congratulates all the participants on their success and wishes them all the best at the National Training Session.
