USEF Names Team For Hickstead CDIO***

The U.S. Equestrian Federation has named the following four horse and rider combinations to the U.S. Dressage Team for the Hickstead CDIO*** in Hickstead, Great Britain, Aug. 1-4. Additionally, the United States will be represented by two individuals.

The following four combinations have been named to the U.S. Dressage Team for the Hickstead CDIO*** (listed in alphabetical order):

Shelly Francis (Loxahatchee, Fla.) on Patricia Stempel's Doktor. Doktor is a 2003 Oldenburg gelding.

Arlene “Tuny” Page (Wellington, Fla.) on her own Alina.
 Alina is a 1998 Danish Warmblood mare.

Kathleen Raine (Murrieta, Calif.) on Jennifer Mason, Kathleen Raine and David Wightman’s Breanna.
 Breanna is a 2000 Hanoverian mare.

Guenter Seidel (Cardiff, Calif.) on Coral Reef Ranch’s Coral Reef Wylea. Coral Reef Wylea is a 2000 Westphalian mare.

The following two riders will compete as individuals and serve as alternates for the team at the Hickstead CDIO*** (listed in ranked order):

Caroline Roffman (Wellington, Fla.) on Hyperion Farm Inc’s Sagacious HF.
 Sagacious HF is a 1999 Dutch Warmblood gelding.

David Blake (Encinitas, Calif.) on Melanie Pai’s Ikaros.
 Ikaros is a 2000 Danish Warmblood gelding.

The CDIO*** Hickstead will be held in a new format, in that the Nations Cup team event will take place during the Grand Prix freestyle competition instead of during the Grand Prix.
