USEF Names Show Jumping Teams For Aachen And Falsterbo

The U.S. Equestrian Federation has named the following horse/rider combinations to represent the United States at the next two shows in the FEI Nations Cup Series.

The following horse/rider combinations will compete in Sweden at the CSIO***** Falsterbo, held July 7-10.

The following horse/rider combinations will compete in Sweden at the CSIO***** Falsterbo, held July 7-10.

  • Charlie Jayne, of Elgin, Ill., will ride The London Group’s Athena, an 11-year-old Belgian mare.
  • Christine McCrea, of Windsor, Conn., will ride Romantovich Take One, an 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding.
  • Lucy Davis, of Los Angeles, Calif., will ride Old Oak Farm’s Nemo 119, a 12-year-old Holsteiner gelding.
  • Saer Coulter, of San Francisco, Calif., will ride Copernicus Stables’ Springtime, a 12-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding.
  • Schuyler Riley, of Wellington, Fla., will ride South Beach Stables’ Lapacco, a 12-year-old Holsteiner gelding.

The following horse/rider combinations will compete in Germany at the CSIO***** Aachen, part of the World Equestrian Festival CHIO, held July 14-17:

  • McLain Ward, of Brewster, N.Y., will ride Grant Road Partners’ Antares F, an 11-year-old Wurttemberger gelding.
  • Margie Engle, of Wellington, Fla., will ride Garber, Griese, Hidden Creek Farm and Gladewinds Farm’s Indigo, an 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding.
  • Beezie Madden, of Cazenovia, N.Y., will ride Coral Reef Ranch’s Coral Reef Via Volo, a 13-year-old Belgian Warmblood mare.
  • Laura Kraut, of Wellington, Fla., will ride Happy Hill Farm’s Cedric, a 13-year-old Holsteiner gelding.
  • Lauren Hough, of Wellington, Fla., will ride Laura and Meredith Mateo’s Quick Study, a 12-year-old Selle Francais gelding.
