The U.S. Equestrian Federation is accepting nominations for the office of secretary, two international at-large seats and one at-large seat on its Board of Directors.
The new secretary must be a current member of the board and serve the remainder of President-Elect Chrystine Tauber’s term through 2014. To be eligible for nomination to an international at-large seat, an individual must demonstrate an understanding of and embrace the critical importance of the USEF’s role in international sport.
Nominations for all seats will only be accepted online and must be received by Sunday, Nov. 18. Submissions should include a narrative describing how the nominee’s participation on the board will benefit the organization. For assistance with your nomination, contact Jane Ohlert at 859-225-6921 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Nominating Committee will meet to consider all nominations and submit its recommendations to the board on or before Tuesday, Dec. 18. The board will conduct the election at the 2013 USEF Annual Meeting, during the first meeting of the board, on Thursday, Jan. 17.
