USEF Accepting Nominations For 2010 Youth Sportsman’s Award

The U.S Equestrian Federation is now accepting applications for the 2010 Youth Sportsman’s Award, sponsored by Breyer Animal Creations. The award honors young riders at any level of competition who exhibit leadership potential and devotion to their sport.

To be considered, applicants must:

• Be a current member in good standing with the USEF
• Be a current member in good standing with a USEF recognized association or international discipline association
• Be under 17 years old, as of Dec. 1, 2009
• Demonstrate a commitment to the promotion of the sport
• Be a positive role model for peers
• Exhibit positive sportsmanship

Applications are available at the USEF website and are due by Oct. 1, 2010.
