Tampa Equestrian Series Adds New Hunter And Jumper Divisions

The 2012 Tampa Equestrian Series is pleased to announce that it has added new hunter and jumper divisions to the lineup for the two-week horse show. Thanks to popular demand by this year's exhibitors, the Tampa Equestrian Series has added Performance Working Hunter 3'6-3'9"and Performance Working Hunter 3'3"divisions, as well as Low Adult and Low Children's Jumper divisions. The Tampa Equestrian Series is scheduled for March 28 - April 7 at the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Fla.

The 2012 Tampa Equestrian Series is pleased to announce that it has added new hunter and jumper divisions to the lineup for the two-week horse show. Thanks to popular demand by this year’s exhibitors, the Tampa Equestrian Series has added Performance Working Hunter 3’6-3’9″and Performance Working Hunter 3’3″divisions, as well as Low Adult and Low Children’s Jumper divisions. The Tampa Equestrian Series is scheduled for March 28 – April 7 at the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Fla.

The hunter ring has recently added the Performance Hunter 3’6″-3’9″ division and the Performance Hunter 3’3″ division to its list of rated events, and the Tampa Equestrian Series is pleased to welcome these new additions. The classes will be held in the Main Hunter Ring during the first two days of competition for each week of the show. The divisions have also been added to the Tampa Equestrian Series Awards.

In the jumper ring, riders can look forward to the new Low Adult Amateur Jumper division and the Low Children’s Jumper division. The classes for these new additions will be held in the Covered Arena during the final two days of competition each week. In addition to presenting championship and reserve championship awards each week, these divisions have also been added to the Tampa Equestrian Series Awards.

The Tampa Equestrian Series will kick-off its two weeks of competition with the Tampa Bay Classic CSI-W, which is scheduled for March 28-April 1 and features the $50,000 FEI World Cup Qualifier CSI 2*-W Grand Prix of Tampa. Another highlight event will be the $32,000 EquiFit Tampa Bay Welcome Stake CSI, which is scheduled for Friday, March 30, 2012. It will be followed by the Tournament of Champions, which will be held April 3-7 and includes the $10,000 CWD American Invitational Stake Class. 

The 40th Annual $200,000 Gene Mische American Invitational, presented by G&C Farm, will be the highlight event on the final day of competition, April 7, 2012 at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The world’s top horses and riders will gather to compete under the lights during one of the premier show jumping events in the United States.
