St. Jacqueses Welcome First Child

Samantha St. Jacques (née Taylor) gave birth to a baby boy on June 30 at 11:23 p.m.

Stirling Keaton St. Jacques was born at the Shands Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville, weighing in at 8 pounds, 3 ounces and measuring 21” long.

Stirling is the first child for the Anthony, Fla.-based eventer, who represented Canada at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, and husband Pierre, who competed on the gold medal-winning U.S. dressage team at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

“She’s supposed to be released Sunday we think, and then we’ll just head home to enjoy him,” said Pierre.  “Sam and I are head over heels in love with him.”
