Springer Ties For Friday Morning Lead In Rolex Kentucky Dressage

Allison Springer dominated the dressage at Blenheim (England) last fall, and she lived up to the high expectations for her performance at Kentucky as she rode Arthur into a tie for the lead in Friday morning’s dressage. She scored 43.7 in the rain, equal to Karen O’Connor and Mandiba. Becky Holder is in third (45.2) with Courageous Comet, while Phillip Dutton holds fourth (47.2) and fifth (47.7) places with The Foreman and Woodburn.

The competition starts back up at 1:00 p.m. and will include Buck Davidson, William Fox-Pitt, Kim Severson, Amy Tryon, and Phillip Dutton and Oliver Townend’s final rides.
