Spanish Dressage Team Named For 2018 WEG

The Spanish Equestrian Federation named four riders to the dressage team for the 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games held in Mill Springs, North Carolina, Sept. 11-23.

The selected riders are:

• Beatriz Ferrer-Salat and Delgado, Deliber S.L.’s 17-year-old Westphalian gelding

• Claudio Castilla Ruiz and Alcaide, his and Yeguada La Perla’s 13-year-old stallion

• Severo Jurado Lopez and Deep Impact 3, Helgstrand Dressage A/S’s 15-year-old Hanoverian gelding

• Juan Matute Guimon and Quantico Ymas, Juan Matute Sr.’s 12-year-old gelding

A reserve rider has not been named.
