Moorlands Totilas (Gal, 83.86% Grand Prix, 86.48 Grand Prix Special, 90.96 Grand Prix freestyle) won the Deutsche Bank Dressage Championship of Aachen over Jerich Parzival (Cornelissen, 78.54, 82.52, 85.60) and Mistral Hojris (Bechtolsheimer, 77.29, 79.37, 80.50). U.S. placings included: 9th—Calecto V (Tina Konyot, 68.60, 70.33, 73.64). Ireland (Tinka’s Serenade/Billy Twomey, Hallmark Elite/Dermott Lennon, K Club Lady/Cian O’Connor, Lantinus/Dennis Lynch, 4 faults) won the Meydan FEI Nations Cup over Germany (Cash/Marco Kutscher, Cellagon Lambrasco/Janne-Frederike Meyer, Gotha/Ludger Beerbaum, Plot Blue/Marcus Ehning, 9 faults) and the United States (Quick Study/Lauren Hough, Skara Glen’s Davos/Candice King, Tristan/Nicole Simpson, Cedric/Laura Kraut, 12 faults). Hickstead (Eric Lamaze of Canada, 0-0/51.62) won the Rolex Grand Prix over Carlina (Pius Schwizer of Switzerland, 0-0/51.86) and Action-Breaker (Alvarez Moya of Spain, 0-0/57.55). U.S. placings included: 10th—Cedric (Laura Kraut, 0-8). Coral Reef Via Volo (Beezie Madden of the United States, 0-0/48.27) won the WARSTEINER-Prize of Europe Grand Prix over Ninja La Silla (Rolf-Göran  Bengtsson of Sweden, 0-0/50.07) and Exquis Oliver Q (Harrie Smolders of the Netherlands, 0-0/55.02). The Netherlands (Isjbrand Chardon, Theo Timmerman, Koos De Ronde; 305.89) won the Aachen Driving Nations Cup over Germany (Michael Brauchle, Ranier Duen, Christoph Sandmann; 316.65) and Switzerland (Felix Affrini, Werner Ulrich, Daniel Wurgler; 329.72). The United States (Tucker Johnson, James Fairclough; 367.09) placed sixth. Boyd Exell of Australia (142.9) won the CAI over Chardon (149.19) and Sandemann (154.34). U.S. placings included: ninth—Johnson (171.57); 17th—Fairclough. Nereo (Andrew Nicholson of New Zealand, 46.80) won the Individual DHL- Prize over Euroridings Butts Leon (Dibwoski, 47.6) and Leopin (Jung, 48.2).
