U.S. placings included: 9th—Calecto V (Tina Konyot, 68.60, 70.33, 73.64). Ireland (Tinka’s Serenade/Billy Twomey, Hallmark Elite/Dermott Lennon, K Club Lady/Cian O’Connor, Lantinus/Dennis Lynch, 4 faults) won the Meydan FEI Nations Cup over Germany (Cash/Marco Kutscher, Cellagon Lambrasco/Janne-Frederike Meyer, Gotha/Ludger Beerbaum, Plot Blue/Marcus Ehning, 9 faults) and the United States (Quick Study/Lauren Hough, Skara Glen’s Davos/Candice King, Tristan/Nicole Simpson, Cedric/Laura Kraut, 12 faults). Hickstead (Eric Lamaze of Canada, 0-0/51.62) won the Rolex Grand Prix over Carlina (Pius Schwizer of Switzerland, 0-0/51.86) and Action-Breaker (Alvarez Moya of Spain, 0-0/57.55).
