One Horse Withdrawn At Jersey Fresh Jog

Laura Roberts and Galway Blazer, in eighth place in the CCI**, shared a moment before passing the Sunday morning horse inspection at Jersey Fresh.

Only one horse presented to the ground jury at the Jersey Fresh CCI and CIC this morning, May 9, will not advance to show jumping.

Three horses were held—Amy Ruth Borun’s Santa’s Playboy, Dornin North’s Lion Display and Kate Hicks’ Belmont II.

Borun chose not to re-present Santa’s Playboy, who had been in 10th place in the CCI**.
Lion Display, in seventh place in the CCI**, passed upon second inspection.

Hicks was initially asked to jog Belmont twice, and was then sent to the hold, upon re-inspection, she was asked to speak with a member of the ground jury, but Belmont was, at length, accepted. They’ll show jump in seventh place in the CIC***.

Show jumping begins at 11:00 a.m. with the CCI**.
