The third leg of the Masters Grand Slam Indoor, set to take place in New York this October, will be postponed to 2014. EEM World, also the creator and organizer of the Gucci Paris Masters and the Longines Hong Kong Masters, announced the postponement on June 24.
This decision was taken by EEM World due to complications obtaining confirmation from both the Fédération Equestre Internationale and the U.S. Equestrian Federation of an official date to establish a CSI***** Masters in the United States.
“We remain committed that the caliber of the U.S. leg of the Masters Grand Slam Indoor will be maintained and fulfilled when the sporting event is rescheduled next year,” stated the release from EEM World. “We will now focus on our two very successful events—the fifth edition of the Gucci Paris Masters, scheduled for December 5-8, and the second edition of the Longines Hong Kong Masters, [which] will take place Feb. 21-23, 2014.”
An advisory announcing the rescheduled dates of the New York leg of the Masters Grand Slam Indoor will be issued in the weeks to come.
