A New Owner For Ping

Getting ready for Jersey Fresh has been keeping everyone at the farm quite busy. We were all really excited about how well Rolex went for everyone at True Prospect Farm. Though I am sad that we didn’t make the trek to England, I was really happy to see Woodburn do so well at Kentucky. It was also awesome to see The Foreman back in action and showing his stuff on the big stage.

Most exciting for me is the news that I have to share about Cambalda. One of Phillip’s wonderful owners, Nina Gardner, has graciously decided to support me by purchasing Ping and will continue to let me have the ride on him. To be honest, I was so overwhelmed I was speechless about this. I feel as though a tremendous weight has been lifted from my shoulders, and I am thinking I must be the luckiest person in the world to have such an amazing new owner in my life.

This sport is a hard one where hard work and determination come into play, but without people willing to believe in you and stand behind you, it makes it really hard to get to the places that you want to go. Not only does Nina owning Ping secure that this amazing horse will stay in my life, but it also opens the door for me to find a nice young one to come up the pipeline.

Nina is not only a huge supporter of Phillip and the sport, but she is also very, very kind. When she comes to watch the horses go at the barn she always asks you how things are going and makes you feel as though you are truly appreciated.

Being at Phillip and Evie’s has changed my life so much. Without their support I truly believe my life would not have the awesome things happening right now. I really am looking forward to continuing to work for them and am excited about Jersey Fresh and hope that we will do Nina proud there.

Hope everyone else is well.
