Meagan Davis Will Represent United States At FEI Young Rider World Cup Dressage Final

The U.S Equestrian Federation has announced that Meagan Davis has been invited to compete for the FEI World Cup Dressage Final For Young Riders in Frankfurt, Germany, on Dec. 15-19.

Davis, 21, will ride Bentley, a 17-year-old Danish Warmblood owned by Kelly Roetto. Davis earned the USEF National Young Rider Dressage Championship at the Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF Dressage Festival of Champions aboard Bentley in August.

The pair qualified by having the highest average in the Young Rider freestyle test in CDI-Y competitions in 2010. Davis and Bentley averaged a 70.47 percent to secure their trip to Germany, the first time Davis will have competed overseas.

“I’m excited and nervous all in one,” said Davis. “I am very proud of Bentley and I as a team. I set a high goal for us in wanting to go to the Young Rider World Cup Final this year, and we achieved that goal.”
