Hamptons, NY. September 6, 2016 – The Equestrian Aid Foundation held its 20th Anniversary celebration on Thursday, September 1st at Marder’s Nursery. The equestrian community mingled with Hamptons residents and guests while raising money to support the Equestrian Aid Foundation’s mission to help people from all corners of the horse world who are coping with life-threatening or life-changing injury or illness.
Guests enjoyed a fun, relaxing Hamptons evening with delicious food provided by Pippy’s Hot Dogs, Neapolitan Express, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, The Hamptons Popcorn Company and The Taco Truck. The exquisite nursery was transformed into an intimate party setting with live music provided by reggae favorite, Winston Irie and the Selective Security Band.
The evening honored the past, present, and future of the Equestrian Aid Foundation. Since its inception 20 years ago, the Equestrian Aid Foundation has provided over $2.6 million in direct grant support to recipients in 30 states across the country. As the Foundation’s reputation expands nationally, opportunities are also growing for the Equestrian Aid Foundation to provide grants that assist with basic living essentials such as food and housing, health insurance, transportation, physical therapy, and more to a greater number of equestrians in need.
“Equestrian Aid did our first fundraiser out in the Hamptons during the Classic, so it’s especially meaningful to have the chance to come back and celebrate our history and accomplishments here,” said Stephanie Bulger, Equestrian Aid Foundation President. “We are so thankful to all of our supporters, and especially the people at Marder’s, for supporting fellow equestrians in need and for helping to make this such a wonderful evening.”

Looking forward to the next 20 years, the Equestrian Aid Foundation announced the launch of a newly revamped website that provides up-to-date information about Equestrian Aid grant recipients, news and activities. The redesigned website offers information about how to get involved and help suffering fellow equestrians via the Foundation’s new Ambassador, Horse Show and Retail programs. The website also assists prospective applicants to understand and navigate the grant-making process.
“We are excited to launch our new website,” said Louise Smith, Executive Director of Equestrian Aid Foundation. “It showcases the important role that the Foundation plays in the equestrian community and will allow us to reach a greater number of horse people in need across America.”
The new website has a clean design, improved navigation and functionality and enhanced rich content that is focused on the non-profit’s mission to provide recipients with critical assistance in their time of need. “We cannot thank iEquine enough for helping to create the new website,” adds Smith. “We would not have been able to achieve our goals here without their generous support.
The Equestrian Aid Foundation site will be updated on a regular basis with information about upcoming activities, program features, success stories, milestones, and community involvement information. Visitors are encouraged to explore the website at http://equestrianaidfoundation.org/
