Wellington, FL (April 20, 2011) – International dressage rider Susie Dutta rode into the winner’s circle during the Gold Coast Grand Finale, wrapping up a successful winter show season with her Grand Prix horses. Dutta also earned the prestigious “Rider Wellness Award” from The Wellington Institute while competing at the Gold Coast Grand Finale.
Dutta and Manette DC earned a personal best at the show, scoring their highest Grand Prix score ever with a 69.574%. Dutta is being coached by Oded Shimoni, a Wellington based trainer from Israel who has also reached his physical and wellness goals thanks to The Wellington Institute. Although Dutta said Shimoni is currently in Israel, he has been coaching her over the phone.
Dutta thanked The Wellington Institute for presenting her with the award and said she looks forward to having the wellness center develop a program for her. “I really would like to have more energy,” Dutta said. “I do Pilates, eat well and ride three horses a day, but I could certainly use more energy.”
Dutta has stayed busy during the winter circuit and now has her sights set on the Pan American Games. “I have one horse that I hope to get to Gladstone in the final 15 and I am trying to qualify two horses for the Grand Prix at Gladstone,” she said, adding that following the Florida circuit she plans to head north and continue showing. “It’s been a great season. I just won the Grand Prix Special on Currency and was in the ribbons with my other Grand Prix horses.”
Juan Gonzalez, Director of Marketing for The Wellington Institute, presented Dutta with her “Rider Wellness Award” and commended Dutta on setting a goal to increase her energy level. “The Wellington Institute has helped many equestrians develop the energy level necessary to ride and compete without fatigue as well as have the ability to look and feel like they did when they were in their 20’s,” Gonzalez said.
Gonzalez added that Dr. Jennine Cabanellas, the founder of The Wellington Institute, worked closely with two other doctors to develop a program especially for equestrian athletes. “Many equestrians have discovered our vitamin program which features pharmaceutical grade vitamins which offer 100% absorption, 100% purity and are 100% natural,” he said. “The program complies with all FDA guidelines and has become a huge hit with riders.”
The Wellington Institute is a true wellness center dedicated solely to wellness, weight loss, and anti-aging medicine. Dr. Cabanellas, who is fondly called the “Queen of Anti-Aging” by riders everywhere, has developed a following in the equestrian community. Six-time Olympic Dressage rider Robert Dover said he feels like he is 20 years old again thanks to Dr. Cabanellas.
“We are very pleased to be supporting the equestrian community by offering the Rider Wellness Award,” Dr. Cabanellas said. “Many, many riders have had success with our programs and we really want to be supportive and give back to the equestrian community. Please stop by and visit us, or check out our website, to see all the many opportunities The Wellington Institute has to offer.”
