Companies and organizations seeking talented team players who put 110 percent into their efforts should reserve a spot now for the U.S. Equestrian Federation Careers Fair.
The career fair will take place May 6 during the 44th Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association National Championships in the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington. Both events are free and open to the public.
“The [USEF] Career Fair will be held in conjunction with the IHSA National Championships, an event which will host over 500 college equestrians and their coaches, families and friends,” said Natalie Norwood with the USEF main office at the KHP. “The career fair is an opportunity for students to be introduced to successful businesses within the equine industry and create avenues for relationships, internships and career connections. These are students who come from a wide variety of backgrounds and majors ranging from business management, communications or chemistry,”
USEF Career Fair door prizes, gifts and coupons will be raffled at the conclusion of the event.
“Be sure to update your resume and practice your interviewing skills,” Norwood said. “Bring copies of your resume to share with groups you are interested in working with through internships or post-graduation employment.”
To secure a USEF Career Fair booth in the Alltech Arena at the IHSA National Championships, contact Norwood at (859) 225-6951 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or Joyce Hamblin at (859) 225-6939 and email@example.com. A $50 fee will be charged to secure a booth and chairs.
