Love this article, but

Hello, Yes I love this article! You said many important things. A different spin you could add to this, which no one seems to address is ""How to Choose a Trainer When You Have Few Options or Little Money." All the things you said to look out for are wonderful, but here in Northeast Wisconsin we have few barns, even fewer good safe barns, and even fewer good safe trainers. And they aren't always at the same place so we have to choose the lesser or two evils. Also, in this economy, people who can still afford to pay board and take lessons have to make tough choices on trainers. You may not be thrilled with everything the trainer does, but if you can save $200 a month by working part time with one trainer over another you may have to make that choice. All that said (and I sound snotty than I meant to) you wrote a really great article that should be read by many more people! Liza Schneider
