Artist Pat Turcotte, Lakewood, N.Y., specializes in equestrian illustration and portraiture, most specifically eventing. She also enjoys child portraiture and works primarily in watercolor, although she does accept commissions in oil.

The late Highland Hogan, who died last summer, was the alternate for the 2000 U.S. Olympic Games eventing team. Owned by Faye Woolf, “Hogie” was a frequent contender in CCIs throughout North America with Holder aboard, including Camino Real (Texas), Fair Hill (Md.) and Rolex Kentucky.
