The Gucci Paris Masters in Sight

Paris, Sept. 16th - As the outdoor season comes to a close and the indoor competitions get under way, eyes are already turning to one of the highlights of the international show jumping calendar: the Masters (CSI 5*) at the Gucci Paris Masters. Scheduled to take place during the Paris Horse Show, the 5th edition of this illustrious Parisian meeting will be held from 5th to 8th December 2013 at Paris-Nord Villepinte exhibition centre (Hall 5b).

Paris, Sept. 16th – As the outdoor season comes to a close and the indoor competitions get under way, eyes are already turning to one of the highlights of the international show jumping calendar: the Masters (CSI 5*) at the Gucci Paris Masters. Scheduled to take place during the Paris Horse Show, the 5th edition of this illustrious Parisian meeting will be held from 5th to 8th December 2013 at Paris-Nord Villepinte exhibition centre (Hall 5b).
 
As usual, the Gucci Paris Masters will feature three different levels of competition over four days, but the prestigious Masters (CSI 5*) will be reserved for the elite horses and riders, the creme de la creme of world show jumping. Visitors to the Gucci Paris Masters have come to expect a magical mix of spectacle, high drama and top level sport, and this year’s meeting promises all that and more.
 
While the full cast list for this year’s meeting is still to be finalized, several big names have already confirmed they will be taking part.
Recently back from Denmark, where he secured a superb European title riding Castle Forbes Myrtille Paulois, France’s Roger-Yves Bost has confirmed he will be competing at the Gucci Paris Masters, alongside French team members and Gucci Paris Masters regulars Kevin Staut and Patrice Delaveau.
 
Britain’s Ben Maher, winner of team gold and individual silver at the 2013 Euro, reigning Olympic champion and new World number one, will also participate
 
As will German duo Ludger Beerbaum and Christian Ahlmann, European team vice-champions.
 
For the women, three American riders have already booked their tickets for Paris: young Reed Kessler, the hottest up-and-coming talent in the sport, the gifted Jessica Springsteen and her coach Laura Kraut, Olympic team champion in 2008.

Thursday 5th December, 6.15pm
Friday 6th December, 7pm and 10pm (Longines Speed Challenge)
Saturday 7th December, 12pm and 10.15pm
Sunday 8th December, 3pm (Gucci Grand Prix)
