Zanotelli and her daughter, Melissa, both entered the contest in hopes of winning, but of course, never really thought that they would win.

“Our trip to the show has been planned for a few months and winning this contest makes it so much more exciting, ” shared Zanotelli, a life-long horse enthusiast. “We went to the Alltech National Horse Show last year and were so impressed with the level of competition.”

Mother and daughter share a passion for horses. They are involved in the local pleasure-ridingcircuit but share an interested in the hunter/jumper competition. Melissa hopes to pursue jumping one day.

“Horse shows in our area cannot come close to the level of shows in Kentucky,” Zanotelli said. “We LOVED the Lexington area when we visited last year. We are looking forward to another year of excellent competition.”
