Charlotte Jumper Classic Cancelled

Due to a change in the majority ownership of Bobcats Sports and Entertainment, the Charlotte Jumper Classic will no longer take place.

The show, held in Charlotte, N.C., was formerly the signature fundraising event for the Bobcats Youth Foundation, which focuses on improving the lives of children and youth of the region.

Due to a change in the majority ownership of Bobcats Sports and Entertainment, the Charlotte Jumper Classic will no longer take place.

The show, held in Charlotte, N.C., was formerly the signature fundraising event for the Bobcats Youth Foundation, which focuses on improving the lives of children and youth of the region.

“The Charlotte Jumper Classic brought together many of the world’s best show jumpers from across the globe, including Olympic riders, as well as junior and amateur riders who competed for the best prize money in the nation,” said Robert L. Johnson, former majority owner of Bobcats Sports and Entertainment. “Show jumping is a sport that families and the community can enjoy, and I will always be involved in supporting and encouraging world class show jumping in the United States.”

The Charlotte Jumper Classic was home to one of the richest grand prix events in the country and offered nearly $600,000 in total prize money Last year Rodrigo Pessoa won the $450,000 Grand Prix of Charlotte on Let’s Fly.
